My friend and I went on a recent trip to Vancouver and Victoria, Canada. My friend is a vegetarian, so before we left on our adventure I began searching for restaurants, stores, and local hot-spots that were vegan and vegetarian-friendly. Below are a few of the sites I discovered in my quest that I thought I'd pass along for those interested.

The Vegetarian Resource Group Travel: Online restaurant guides, dining, books, B&Bs, retreats, and more.

FINDER TIME: Challenge – Where can I find the pinky ring Meryl Streep wore in Mamma Mia

FINDER TIME: Challenge – Where can I find the pinky ring Meryl Streep wore in Mamma Mia

I was recently challenged to find where one could purchase the silver tube ring, or something similar to, what Meryl Streep’s character “Donna” wore on her right pinky finger during the 2008 movie Mamma Mia. Challenge happily accepted!

Though the ring was designed specifically for the movie, it doesn't mean it's impossible to find something of the like. I found Etsy.com to be a mine field by searching for “silver tube ring”. Various styles were available: hammered, brushed, shiny, scratched, with a selection in silver or gold, adjustable or sized.

I purchased mine through Etsy store HLCollection. Other Etsy shops where I found a fashionable assortment include AshkalShop, TopStar, and galisfly. You can also perform a quick search on Google, Bing, or your favorite search engine for “silver tube ring” to find a cornucopia of treasures. Prices begin around $18 and increase from there, depending on style, material, and seller.

Feel free to share where else you found similar rings.

Until our next challenge…take care my friends!
