Goodreads Giveaways

I'm rather new to Goodreads.com, but have enjoyed connecting to others, including authors, who have a similar passion for reading. 

I noticed every now and then book giveaways would pop up. Cool! I wondered if there was one place where all the giveaways could be found. Sure enough, there is. When you login to Goodreads, go to the "Explore" menu, then select "Giveaways" from the drop-down. 

From there you can sort via the tabs provided to search the results: 'Ending Soon', 'Most Requested', 'Popular Authors', and 'Recently Listed'. Check it out.

Converting Files from .pdf to .jpg

A friend was looking for a way to effortlessly convert her .pdf files to .jpg. No problem, I told her! Let me see what I can find! Voila! Check out http://www.zamzar.com/

Upload the .pdf file in Step 1, then select the file format you'd like to convert to in step 2. Step 3 is for entering your email address where the converted file is sent. Step 4 completes the process. Easy-peasy!

It took just a few minutes to receive the email with a link to download the converted file.

Did you know there are many ways to earn travel miles aside from actually travelling? Yep, I was surprised too! Many retailers are partnering with airlines such as Delta, American, USAirways, JetBlue, etc. enabling you to take advantage of earning travel miles. 

Ways to earn miles can range from signing up for memberships through Netflix, sending flowers via FTD.com, or other methods under categories such as home, entertainment, wireless, dining, retail, etc.
